Early July, Dr. Mike Mazzola and Carolyn Keith from CLEANcarolinas were recently hosted by the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities and Dansmarks Teknisk Universitet (DTU), the leading institute in wind energy research, during their Offshore Wind Meetings. We were particularly impressed with the in-depth insights provided by the Danish Energy Agency on offshore wind technology. Their expertise in energy production, supply, and reducing carbon emissions is world-renowned, and the knowledge we gained from both the Ministry and DTU is invaluable for the advancement of clean energy initiatives in the Carolinas. This enriching experience leaves us optimistic and inspired as we continue to work towards making the Carolinas a leading region in clean energy innovation.
